The concentrates have been
formulated to permit their universal use in a broad range of binders for
screen printing and pad printing applications. The adhesion, drying capacity,
degree of gloss and chemical resistance of the printed film are determined
by the binder used.
Characteristics
- Compatible with 1 &
2 component inks
- High gloss (depends
on degree of binder gloss)
- Can be mixed with colored
ink lines
- 3 colors
Durability:
High-gloss bronzes stand
out by virtue of their extreme surface durability and rub-resistance.
As a result, no further protective varnishing is required. Given the use
of a suitable varnish, all high-gloss bronzes are capable of undergoing
laminating and moulding.
Opacity:
Due to the smaller grain
size of these bronze concentrates than that of conventional bronze powders,
opacity is exceptionally high, even on dark substrates.
Concentrates which can
be mixed with bronze binders or printing varnishes containing solvents
to produce glossy, mettalic brilliant shades.
Can also add any combination of standard printing ink colors to achieve
desired metallic shades.
Ratios:
We recommend the following
mixing ratios:
- 7 parts varnish to 1 part
bronze concentrate
- A higher opacity (on dark
substrates) can be achieved with a mixture ratio of 5:1
- To obtain a greater yield
on light substrates, the mixture ratio can be increased to 10:1.
Note:
The inks, additives and
auxiliaries may behave differently on your substrate and under your printing
conditions. All products are sold under the express condition that their
suitability for the intended use be established by testing before full
production runs.
