a continuous initiative to meet the needs of the constantly increasing
demands of the medical market for a Class VI Medical certified ink,
the Autoroll / Marabu team has the answer with three problem solving
inks. The majority of polymers used in todays medical industry
are PVC, polypropylene, and polystyrene.
Autoroll Print Technologies now offers three unique ink systems,
which meet the requirements of USP24, NF19, 2000 for the Biological
Test of Plastic Class VI.
The
Class VI approved inks are :
Tampastar / TPR: Very fast drying, 1 component glossy ink
system.
Tampapur / TPU: 2 component, high gloss ink system.
Maraprop / PP: Developed specially for printing on untreated
as well as pre-treated polypropylene. PP is a one component, satin
gloss, quick drying ink system. PP is used extensively worldwide
for printing on medical syringes using high-speed pad printing equipment.
All
Marabu inks meet EN71 Part 3, Safety for Toys and contain no heavy
metals.
